G Adventures offers new Hallowe’en Transylvania tours with party

G Adventures has chosen Friday 13th to launch its new Hallowe’en trips to Transylvania, including a party at Dracula’s Castle.

The adventure travel specialist is offering a three-day and seven-day option, both including the fancy dress party for 1,000 guests.

G Adventures has secured exclusive access to Bran Castle for the next two years. The party includes a party tent with food, drinks and music an option for those not on the dancefloor.

Its chief experience officer will guide the group, which can wander the hidden tunnels, secret staircases and explore the creaking corridors of this 14th century castle.

The next day, travellers can head out to explore nearby Brasov, visiting the Black Church, learning more at the Brasov History Museum or clearing the head hiking in one of the national parks.

Its seven-day tour takes 120 travellers on a journey through Romania’s most historic and haunted sites before ending with the private party.

Starting in Bucharest, the tour will take travellers to the ruins of Poenari Castle in Bucharest, which was once the main fortresses of Vlad the Impaler, who killed over 10,000 people, and to his hometown of Sighisoara, where travellers will learn more about Romania’s dark history. Travellers will try authentic Romanian cuisine and traditional meat and game dishes from the region before they visit the town of Bran.

G Adventures is offering agents the chance to join the trip, with a booking incentive until August 31 in which any Hallowe’en booking earns agents a place in the draw to win one of two places on the three-day tour including return flights from London.

The seven-day Halloween in Transylvania tour starts from £999 per person. The three-day Dracula’s Halloween Party in Transylvania tour starts from £299.
